Inventory Management

Inventory Management

The Inventory Management solution gives businesses precise, real-time visibility into their stock — what they have, where it is, and how it moves. It is used by retailers, distributors, warehouses, and manufacturers to reduce losses from stockouts, overstocking, and untracked shrinkage.

The system is built to reflect how stock actually behaves in a real business — arriving in batches, moving between branches or warehouses, being reserved against pending orders, and occasionally being written off due to damage or expiry — rather than treating inventory as a single static number per product. This gives managers a far more accurate picture than a simple stock count.

How It Works
Products are catalogued with SKUs, categories, units of measure, batch/expiry tracking where relevant, and reorder thresholds. Stock movements — receipts, transfers between locations, reservations, and sales — are recorded as they happen, keeping counts accurate. The system generates alerts when stock falls below defined reorder levels, prompting timely replenishment. Stock takes and adjustments (for damage, loss, or expiry) are logged with reasons, maintaining an accurate and explainable record. Reports show stock valuation, movement history, and fast- or slow-moving items to inform purchasing decisions. Where paired with the POS or E-Commerce solutions, inventory updates automatically with every sale.

Key Features
Key features include multi-location stock tracking, batch and expiry-date tracking, automated reorder alerts, logged stock adjustments with reasons, stock valuation and movement reporting, and native integration with POS and E-Commerce.

Value to Organizations
Minimizes lost sales from stockouts and wasted capital from overstocking. Provides an accurate, auditable record of stock for financial and operational reporting. Improves purchasing decisions through visibility into stock movement trends. Reduces losses from theft or mismanagement through better tracking and accountability. Gives a realistic, explainable picture of stock rather than a single unexplained number.

AvelAI — Web Generator

AvelAI — Web Generator

AvelAI is Glomex's flagship innovation: a no-code, artificial-intelligence-driven platform that allows anyone — regardless of technical background — to describe an application in plain language and have it generated as a functional web application. It is built to lower the barrier to software creation, enabling entrepreneurs, institutions, and developers to move from concept to prototype in a fraction of the time required by traditional development. AvelAI has been recognized as a certified Digital Public Good, reflecting a deliberate design philosophy centred on openness and accessibility rather than locking users into proprietary, closed workflows. Beyond individual builders, AvelAI is increasingly used...

Groups and Chama Management

Groups and Chama Management

This solution digitizes the operations of informal and semi-formal savings groups — widely known in East Africa as chamas — as well as welfare groups, SACCOs, and cooperative societies. It replaces manual ledgers and cash-handling registers with an accountable digital system for contributions, loans, and group governance. Because these groups often operate on trust among members with limited formal financial infrastructure, the platform places particular emphasis on transparency: every member can see their own contribution and loan history at any time, and group leadership cannot alter historical records without those changes being visible in the system's audit log. This makes it...

TenderAI / Tender Pro

TenderAI / Tender Pro

TenderAI (also offered as Tender Pro) is a specialized platform built to help businesses and consultants find, evaluate, and manage responses to tender and procurement opportunities. Rather than manually scanning multiple sources for opportunities, users get a consolidated, searchable view of relevant tenders, along with tools to manage the bidding process. The platform was built directly from a detailed software requirements specification for Glomex, and it applies AI-assisted matching so that the tenders surfaced to a given business are filtered by relevance — sector, size, and location — rather than requiring users to sift through an undifferentiated national feed of...

Event Management

Event Management

The Event Management solution gives organizers a single platform to plan, promote, and run events — from corporate conferences and workshops to weddings, concerts, and community gatherings. It brings event listing, registration, ticketing, and on-the-day check-in together in one system, replacing the mix of spreadsheets, paper guest lists, and manual door checks organizers typically rely on. The platform is designed to support the full lifecycle of an event rather than just the point of sale: it carries organizers from initial event setup and promotion, through registration and payment collection, to real-time attendance tracking on the event day itself, and finally...

Payment Gateway Integrations

Payment Gateway Integrations

This service integrates secure payment processing capabilities into an organization's website, application, or system. It connects platforms to payment channels widely used in the region — including mobile money services, card networks, and bank payment APIs — so organizations can collect payments digitally and reliably. Because payment integrations sit at the center of an organization's revenue collection, this service places strong emphasis on reliability and reconciliation, not just the initial connection: callback handling, retry logic for delayed confirmations, and reconciliation reporting are all built in, so that finance teams can trust the numbers the system reports and match them confidently...

Point of Sale

Point of Sale

The Point of Sale solution is a transaction management system designed for retail shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and service outlets. It handles the full sales cycle — item lookup, cart management, discounts, payment capture, and receipt generation — while feeding every transaction into a central sales and inventory record. The system is built to remain fast and dependable even in high-traffic environments, and it supports both single-outlet businesses and multi-branch operations that need a consolidated view of performance across locations. It can run on standard desktop computers, tablets, or dedicated POS terminals, and is designed to keep operating with local caching...

The Glomex difference

Technology shouldn't just make an organization look modern — it should make it work better. Every engagement starts with the problem, not the platform.

01

Understand before we build

We map how an organization actually operates before writing a line of code, so the system fits the process instead of forcing a new one.

02

Engineering that evolves

A Laravel + Tailwind CSS core, role-based permissions and modular architecture mean new capabilities plug in without rebuilding the platform.

03

Connected, not siloed

Website, payments, inventory, POS and SMS can share one ecosystem — a payment in one module can update records everywhere else instantly.

04

Built for the region

M-Pesa/Daraja, Africa's Talking SMS, KES pricing and Kenyan procurement rules are native considerations, not afterthoughts.

05

AI where it adds value

From AvelAI's application generation to TenderAI's document analysis, AI is applied to real bottlenecks — not bolted on for its own sake.

06

A long-term partnership

We support implementation, training, maintenance and optimization well after launch — deployment is the start, not the finish line.
